Not as nice as expected
What I loved most: Visuals
What I really hated: No storyline...
I had high hopes for this movie due to it's visuals and ancient like story. But it kinda disappoint me as the Mammoths happened to be so huge (?), so much gigantic than human being and yet could be killed and controlled just by spearing and whistling. The size already don't really make sense, needless to say about the killing part. As for the sabertooth, it looked really huge too! I need they should consider the apporiate size of those ancient animals before making it too exaggerating and it's not that amazing to watch cos too unreal. As for the story I also could not really understand the flow and logic especially when the girl is actually dead but revived due to the granny's help... And yes, this show kinda a bit like Mel Gibson's movie (forgot the movie but starts with "A") but I prefer the "A" movie even though it's of foreign language but at least the killing is logical and the torture they look is more sick and gore. (I like gore)

overhyped movie
What I loved most: camille belle
What I really hated: everything except camille belle
i went to watch the movie with high expectation, but ended going home with huge disappointment. The graphics is very unreal, fake sabretooth, did anyone realise at the end of the story, when they were near the river, the water doesn't even flow!! stupid! as for '10000 b.c' come on, did they even do some research? How could a mammoth be killed with only two weak spears?
The storyline even worse, very boring, money not well spend. I would recommend you to watch The Spiderwick Chronicles instead, even better plot, with excellent graphics.

What I loved most: "he is not a GOD"
What I really hated: lack of battle scenes
In a sci-fi movie, i don't expect too much details on the facts such as date and language.
This movie was overall quite an entertianing show, somewhat touching at times. The director throws in a mixture of supersitious and miracles.
The tribes battle-cry lacks the kinda of force, unlike 300 which really bring me to the edges of my cinema seat.
Good entertianing movie, with predictable plot.
Recommend: watch it.

A comparison with Mel Gibson's Apocalypto
What I loved most: Camilla Belle
What I really hated: Camilla Belle + Dress (is she not a tribe? :P)
Hey this movie story line is entirely copied from Apocalypto. Same story with worst performing actors and no logic. The prehistoric animals are wonderfully created but they appear in the screen for only 1 or 2 minutes and is always off the screen. This movie has lost the essence of showing the cultures. The tribes speak english? i dont know whether wooly mamoths can be tamed or our early forefathers actually tamed it for construction. The prophecy is somewhat vague and there is no scene of the hero's father and what he did... there is no valiant... there is no coming back of the hero who is a coward and i did not like the narrative style of movie. 10,000 B.C sucks!! Apocalypto rocks!!
