Great

What I loved most: The theme

What I really hated: Nothing

I thought that it was the best movie in the world. The hole idea was great.I loved that the main charicter got all the slaves to fight with him and that he would stop at nothing to get her back.

10,000BC

10,000BC should mark the end of Ice Age and the early stage of Mankind settlement and plant domestication. I was looking forward to human or Homo Sapiens Sapiens developed and adapt to the rapid changes of the world in 10,000BC. Instead, it is a battle about the blue eye race? The historical trace of warfare begins some time around 5000BC in Mesopotamia, better known today as Iraq. If we forget about facts and scientific finding, 10,000BC the movie is rather entertaining. ….”you see the light? Always there; you are like a light in my heart! View it as a love story and I will rate it with maybe 3 stars?

Good but not fantastic

What I loved most: Great visual effects, that's all!

What I really hated: Lead actor's potrayal, storyline, language use

I dont understand why the title should be 10,000 BC where in fact it should be an uncivilised world then where mankind should be learning how to cook, build and hunt. But then, there was an advance civilization in the movie who were already building pyramids made of gold, and voyaging with big ships! Language use was unreal, how come one tribe knows English and others have their own? And the funny thing is, there was an interpreter! hahaha! very funny! (the girl beside me in the moviehouse was always giggling whenever an interpreter speaks) Unlike in Apocalypto film by Mel Gibson, language was tribalistic (though you need to read the subtitle, it was okay) It gives you the real sense of uncivilized era. Though you don't understand exaclty what they were saying their facial expression plus their acting were just enough to understand the message. And action scenes were really cool! The lead actor in 10000BC is not good. Expressionless. You could not feel him and looks too handsome to be a hunter or a warrior hehe.. By the way, I wonder how those big mammoth were captured and tamed at the end of the story? isn't it weird? and how the girl revived? It was not that clear if it has something to do with her blue eyes, the old prophetic auntie, or the mammoth.. Hayyy.. I feel sorry for myself, i really did not understand the movie plot at all! Hope movie goers out there would not feel the same way.. :p
